Spurs make a short trip across North London on Sunday to face rivals Arsenal at the Emirates in the 201st North London derby.
The hosts were a shambles in their first 3 league games losing all without scoring. However, Mikel Arteta has since turned the tide in Arsenal’s favor which has seen the gunners win 3 consecutive games in all competitions without conceding.
It’s fair to note though that Arsenal didn’t face a considerable opponent to test the legitimacy of their defense in those games, but Spurs would be an ideal outfit to do so with English skipper Harry Kane set to lead the line for Spurs.
Spurs registered back to back London derby losses at Palace and against Chelsea losing 3-0 respectively and Nuno Esperito will seek to reclaim his good start to the Season. Spurs have not found joy at the Emirates in a decade failing to register any win since 2009.
Predicted Team new
Arsenal:. Ramsdele;. Gabriel, White, Tomiyasu, Tierney;. Partey, Lokonga:. Odeegard, Saka, Smith-Rowe, Aubamayang
Spurs:. Lloris: Royal, Romero, Sanchez, Region;. Ndombele, Dier, Alli;. Son, Moura, Kane
Arsenal have the cutting edge following back to back victories, but you can’t malign Spurs in a North London derby. They will give the gunners a busy Sunday afternoon. Arsenal has to be decisive and clinical in front of goal. I see a tight affair, but the gunners will marginally edge it 2-1.
