The leadership of Charles fellowship ministries limited together with Mohammed Baale the imam of Masjid taqua located in kabowa in rubaga division found in the capital Kampala have today dragged the ministry of health, its permanent secretary and the attorney general to courts of law on account of not respecting the worship centers.
Through their lawyers from kakuru and company advocates and Irene Namuli and company advocates have demanded court to pass on order to reopen churches and mosques citing that their closure deters the people of God from enjoying their right to worship.
It should be remembered that worship centers have remained closed for the next 60 days following the presidential address on Covid-19 last week on Friday.
The president informed the public in his address that worship centers and schools shall be reviewed after 60 days with a mass vaccination plan since places gather big number of people. However, this case has not been allocated a judge or date for hearing.
