Done deal: Arsenal signs Ben White at £50 m.

Arsenal FC have sealed the signing of Ben White from Brighton & Hoves Albion FC in a £50m deal. The 23-year-old English defender has joined on a long-term contract of 5 years with an alternative to extend for a year, having completed his medical on Friday.

Ben white who joined Brighton in 2013 has taken it to his Twitter handle to thank the club and the fans. “All the @OfficialBHAFC fans who have supported me over the years I wanted to say a massive thank you. It’s not easy. I joined Brighton 8 years ago with a dream to play in the Premier League”. He tweeted.

“This club gave me that opportunity and for that I’ll be forever grateful. To all the coaching staff, my teammates and once again fans, I wish you all the best in the future. Thank you @OfficialBHAFC”. added.

“Ben was a top target for us, and it’s great that we’ve completed his signing. He has benefited well from two very good coaching set-ups and has shown with both Brighton and on loan with Leeds what a strong talent he is,” said Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.

Born 8, October 1997 and plays as a center-back and has been given shirt number 4 which was made popular at arsenal by former Captains Patrick Vieira and Francesic Fabrigas.This makes him the third most expensive player for the North London club.
