Police launches investigations in prime minister Nabbanja’s death threats.

Uganda Police has today July, 24, 2021 officially started investigations about the threats  that were cast against the prime minister of Uganda Hon Robinah Nabbanja accusing her of standing in their ways.

Nabbanja yesterday 23rd, July came out in broad daylight to state the threats that she has started receiving just few months in the office as a prime minister. She said that an unknown person drove to her home district Kakumiro to question her brother what all she wants in her ways of running her activities.

The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) and intelligence directory spokesperson Charles Twine says that investigations following threats against her and members of  her family have been launched and the file has been opened even though she has not yet reported the matter.

The threats come only three days after she rejected the relief aid materials that were supplied to the victims of River Nyamwamba floods in Kasese which she said that they were of poor quality. The premier got annoyed and requested for accountability from the auditor.

She went ahead and ordered the minister for disasters and preparedness Hon. Esther Davinia Anyakun to buy good materials of high to these people that are now homeless because of floods. The materials included blankets, mosquito nets among others.
