Museveni Appoints General Mbadi To Replace General Muhozi as New CDF.

Another surprising appointment has poped up after the commander in chief of Uganda People’s Defense forces (UPDF) General Museveni also the President of the Republic of Uganda replacing “Chief of Defense forces”(CDF) General David Muhozi with General Wilson Mbusa Mbadi.

General Muhozi was recently appointed as the Minister of internal affairs however, he was still doubling as the CDF, Museveni who seemed  unbothered about the soft spoken Commander (Muhozi) covering two Major positions kept silent after receiving a series of concerns on the issue.

General Mbadi is expected to run the office as soon as possible, his appointment news has shocked many people as he was not expected to be on the list of Muhozi’s replacement.

Born Mbadi Wilson Mbusa on June, 10th, 1962 in Kasese district, Mbaddi joined the army at the age of 24 in 1986  and five years later in 1991
Mbadi was briefly appointed acting Brigade Commander for the Armored Brigade in 2004 before officially taking over as Commander of the 507 Brigade in 2005, He was later appointed  commander of the fourth division sitting in Gulu and later Joint Chief of Staff of the UPDF in 2013.
