The Judicial fraternity is so saddened and currently mourning due to the untimely death of the former judicial permanent secretary Kivumbi Kagole Expedito who has passed on today June,13, 2021. Kagole was admitted at Memorial Medical Services at Kitiko Lubowa and his cause of death has been attributed to COVID-19.

“The Judiciary with deep sorrow announces the sudden death of its immediate former Permanent Secretary/Secretary to the Judiciary, Mr Kagole Expedito Kivumbi, which has just occurred at Le Memorial Medical Services at Kitiko-Lubowa, Kigo Road. He was admitted at the facility one week ago,” — Principal Communication Officer of the Judiciary, Solomon Muyita.

“The Judiciary is working closely with the family to coordinate the funeral arrangements, and they’ll be communicated subsequently,”- Muyita added.

The late Kagole, 58, He had been accused of a discharge of Shs34b Judiciary money following a report issued by the Auditor General. At a time of his death, the High Court in Kampala had ruled his indefinite leave that had been imposed on him  two years ago.
