Zuli Tums biography, all you didn’t know about him.

ZuliTums is a singer / music producer and songwriter best   known for hit songs such as “Easy”, “Tabu”, “Counting on you” and among others.

Who is Zulitums ?

Singer-songwriter, performing artist /producer began to see his success in 2014 as a producer when he produced a song titled “Mabanja” by Vampos who rebranded to Vampino, he mastered production, and he was behind the hit songs such as “Boom party” by Cindy “Anjagala” by Maro and “Sanyu lyange” by Pallaso. After some years as a producer, Tums broke out as sensational soul singer with hits such as “Easy” Tabu and “counting on you” released on his super album titled “invictus”.

Early life.

Born Ssemwogerere Samuel on April, 04, 1992 in Kamwookya, Kampala Uganda however, his parents originate from Mulukuumi, Nakaseke district. His name “ZULITUMS” is a unique name with a hidden meaning. “ZULI” was his grandmother’s name and “TUMS” literally means “Tell the Universe about My name Sam”.

Zulitums grew up in kamwookya and completed his primary school at Kamwookya Islamic school he then attended Kololo Secondary School and completed at Kololo high school. Zulitums produced his first hit song Mabanja when he was in senior 5 at Kololo high school.

Career.

Zulitums was lucky that in his hometown “Kamwookya” there was a music studio “spark studio” which offered him a job of cleaning it every morning before he goes to school and this is where his production journey started. However, he had a talent of singing before, He learned mastering, equalizing and production.

Zuli tums began as a singer during high school but due to lack of funds for the studio he decided to go for production since he had an opportunity at home. In 2013, he was given a studio in Ntinda known as “Hits factory” not until 2014 when his hardworking was revealed with hit song Mabanja by Vampos.

The same year he met Maro, and they became more than friends, since they had similar dreams they started a recording studio “Volume up records”, he produced couples of songs for him. The lock down came as a blessing in a disguise when he decided to refurbish his singing talent and recorded hit songs such as “Easy” and “Tabu” which covered the airwaves and televisions of Uganda during total lock down in the country.

In April 2020 he was signed as a recording artist for Black Avie records and did not annoy them, He released a super massive album which was titled as “Invictus”. This album had singles and collaborations from international artists such as Skales and many others. Some songs include “you know why featuring Skales”, “Counting on you”, “somebody’s daughter”, “For the love among others”.
